Yes, I know, I had a very hard time finding a developer job to build my house. I thought it was just a matter of time until I found one. I’m not kidding, I’m pretty sure I’ve never done a job that required a developer, but I’ve never found a job and it’s something that really doesn’t work.
I think that you just need to put in the effort. There are plenty of remote (or even freelanced) developer jobs, even if it is just to do website development. You can always take a course in web development if you don’t know what youre doing, and if you do know youll likely end up learning a lot about web design and coding. You can also try to find a local startup that’s looking for developers, and ask if they hire anyone.
Remote frontend developer jobs are definitely on the rise and there are plenty of them to choose from, especially if you know your way around a browser. If you dont, youre screwed. And if youre not able to find a local startup, then you would be better off finding your own website development job.
