This one month is all about taking on a challenge and seeing how far you can go. We all have those days where it feels like you are doing something difficult but you are really doing something fun and challenging.
The challenge was to take on a challenge each day for a month. In this case, it was a month of work. In the end, you won’t have to work as hard, but you are going to feel the rush of work that comes from a challenge. It’s like your body is giving you a big kick in the ass.
It’s amazing how much work you can put in when you don’t feel like it. It was pretty cool to see some of that work come out of the other side. For example, one day, I started the day by working on the kitchen. I made a few meals and did some other chores. Then I started the day again by working on the laundry.
This is when I started to feel like I could really do some work. But I think its also when I started to feel like I could actually see what I had accomplished. It was really fun to see my work show up during my work day.
The funny thing is how Ruby was able to work like this without any interruptions. It wasn’t always smooth sailing. Once I went to the grocery store, Ruby didn’t want to go so I had to pull her out of it. But the grocery stores have plenty of people around, and I can understand her being a bit reluctant to leave so she can get her vegetables.
This brings me to the topic at hand. No one talks about Ruby’s time on the island as if it were a normal day. We see it from the point of view of the people who were there. We see the awkwardness of Ruby’s parents, the lack of comfort and comfort food these people had, and the fact that Ruby’s best friend was there.
