You can use datetime.date to get a date. Then you can use datetime.utc to get your current time. Here’s a quick tutorial on how to use datetime.date to get the current date. Then you can use datetime.utc.getUTCDate() to get your current time.
If you’re just looking for the current date, and you don’t care what time of day it is, datetime.now will do. If you want to go a little further, you can use Date.UTC, datetime.UTC, Date.UTC-1, or Date.utc-1. I use Date.UTC-1 since I don’t care what time it is.
There are times when you just don’t care about the clock. For instance, on a long trip, you know that you will be sleeping for a couple of hours, so you don’t think about it. But when youre in a new situation you don’t want to get up early. It’s annoying because youre wasting a few seconds of precious time. So datetime.utc.getUTCDate is a good function for you to use.
